when journeyman musician david rigby came to
nashville, he found a lot of great musicians.
he wanted to form something really special
but with the right combination of players...

david met nick wood at their place of
employment and decided they should get
together and jam. then one night they
stopped into a local club and heard
a fellow sitting in with the band...

he was blowing the sweetest soprano sax
you ever heard, and that fellow was
jimmy bowland. the three started
jamming together and...

soon found out that bass/tuba instructor
eric stephens was available. well, this
was starting to sound pretty good!
david and jimmy had some original
tunes if only they could find

the right drummer...

enter studio/session man steve emahiser, and
the band was complete! if that wasn't enough,
while the band was playing a gig, a guy by
the name of greg timko came up and wanted
to know if the band was interested in
being guinea pigs in his new studio.
